step1  Prepare the solvent.

step3  Work thinner through the brush bristles, swish the brush several times.

step4  Blot the brushes against the paper towels to remove excess paint thinner and then repeat these steps with a clean container and clean thinner until the paint brush against the towels clean.

How to clean water-based paint from paint brushes?

step1   Prepare soapy warm water and pour into a container 

step2   Put the brush into soapy warm water.

step3   Hold the brush under the running water. Use a paint brush comb would be better to remove any paint that remains.

step4   Continue to work the paint out of the brush from the heel to the end of the bristles. Spread the bristles until the water coming out of the brush is clear.
